You may return* merchandise purchased from ButterflyPhoto for a refund or a replacement, provided that the procedures and requirements referred to in our return policy are followed. All product returns require a return authorization number (RA). A RA number must be issued within 14 calendar days after the date of Delivery; it will be valid for 14 calendar days after it is issued.
Removal or alteration of a product's upc number, serial number or upc/serial number sticker will automatically void your ButterflyPhoto Return Policy. Products that are returned to ButterfyPhoto with a missing, damaged or altered serial number will be refused RMA service and returned to you.

Canceling an Order Before Checking Out
You can cancel the order process at any time by clicking on the Shopping Cart button and deleting each item form your shopping cart.
A Restock fee of 10 percent will apply to the value of all merchandise returned for a refund. If you are returning a product with the intention of purchasing different merchandise, the processing fee will still apply. This fee applies to open and unopened boxes. We will only refund the value of the merchandise returned, not the shipping charge.
If you purchased a product from ButterflyPhoto that you wish to exchange for an alternative, you can return the item for a refund and simply place a new order for the item you desire. We do not apply a refund credit to your new purchase.
An item that was discovered to be defective upon receipt (within 24-48 hours) can be replaced with the same model only. You may also return a defective item for a refund, however a 10 percent processing fee will apply. The processing fee will only be applied if you choose to return the item for a refund. We will certainly replace an item that was defective prior to receipt, without a restocking fee.
**Please note: All Defective TVs over 19" cannot be returned for exchange. All products sold include a full manufaturers warranty. In the event the TV is defective, please contact the manufaturers servivce center. The manufaturer will provideservice on all defective TVs

Due to certain manufactures restrictions the following products are not acceptable for credit, refund, or exchange and must be repaired by manufacturers' authorized service centers: all Televisions over 19" ,Pioneer and Panasonic Digital DVD Recorders including TiVo, computer desktops and notebooks, printers, Sony Digital Cameras and Camcorders, headphones and earphones. To locate a service center near you, please refer to your product manual. Car Stereo and electronic equipment should be "bench-tested" PRIOR to installation (units that have been installed, scratched, or abused WILL NOT BE accepted for return or credit!). Pre-recorded videotapes, cassettes, CDs, DVDs and laser discs can only be exchanged for a different title, if unopened! Defective, pre-recorded videotapes, cassettes, CDs, DVDs and laser discs may be exchanged for same title ONLY! Extended Warranties are non-returnable and therefore non-refundable.
All Packages are inspected for damage before they ship from our warehouse. If your package has been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately. We must be informed of all shipping related claims within 24 hrs after the date of receipt. We do not issue refunds for returns of damaged merchandise. An item that was discovered damaged upon receipt will be replaced with the same model only. Upon delivery, it is the consumer's sole responsibility to inspect the TV/Big Screen/Monitor to insure that it is not physically damaged.
Physical Concealed Damaged TV’s: We must be notified within 24 business hours of receiving the product with this type of damage. Please contact our customer service with details (800) 339-9960 ext 772. We will have the product picked up by a shipping carrier of our choosing and once it is received back we will Re-ship the merchandise.
DO NOT SIGN the delivery manifest until you have inspected the TV/Big Screen/Monitor. Once you sign for the item, you are signing acceptance of the product "physically as is" and CANNOT refute the charges for a physically damaged unit from that point forward. If the merchandise is damaged, please make a notation on the delivery manifest, and have the delivery person sign as a witness to the damage.
If you are refusing the delivery of a package and it is not damaged, you are responsible for the shipping, handling, and insurance charges for the delivery BOTH WAYS. Please note that a refund will be issued for the cost of the product only. You will NOT be reimbursed for the shipping, handling, and insurance charges. If refused by recipient the cost of return shipping will automatically be deducted from the amount being refunded and or applied to the exchange price, proof of cost of shipping may be supplied at the customer’s request.
Return shipping cost (the cost to send an item back to our store) is like or comparable to your cost of driving to any store for returning an item, which is not reimbursable. Therefore, we do not reimburse any return shipping cost. If an item you received is defective, we will certainly replace the item with a new one, however we do not cover or reimburse the shipping cost for returning defective merchandise back to our store. We will ship the replacement product to you at our cost, and use every good measure to ensure that the replacement order is processed quickly.
We will send a product replacement after the authorized return has completed our receiving/inspection process. The replacement will ship within four business days following our receipt of your return. Please allow additional processing time after Holidays. Although it is our goal to ship a replacement as quickly as possible, we do not send replacements before we receive and inspect the returned merchandise. To receive a replacement more quickly, you may place a new order for the same item (shipping not included), and we will issue a refund for the full value of the returned product (including shipping), upon completion of our return process.
Typos & Price Errors
We go to great lengths to publish accurate product listings and selling prices, but mistakes (though rare) can happen. In the event a typographical error appears in the product listing or selling price, ButterflyPhoto.com has the right to cancel or refuse any orders placed under the incorrect price. This can happen even if your order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If you have been charged for a purchase that is canceled, ButterflyPhoto.com immediately will issue a credit to your credit card account in the full amount of the charge.
How to Return Merchandise:
Please contact us at 800339-9960or e-mail to support@Butterflyphoto.com. If you do not have the return form; we will provide it together with your RA number. Please fill in the requested information on our product return form, and carefully follow the instructions for return.
Any merchandise returned to us unauthorized will be refused. Please ship your parcel back to us freight prepaid We suggest that you use FedEx Ground Service "Insured". Sorry, we cannot accept COD or freight-collect shipments. No goods will be accepted for exchange or return without authorization.
All returned/exhanged merchandise must be in original condition, and must include the original factory box (UPC bar codes and serial numbers must be intact) and factory packaging (e.g. foam, plastic, wrappings, etc.), peripherals (e.g. battery, charger, cords, straps, etc.), included warranty cards (without markings), and all instruction booklets and paperwork. The RA number or any other inscriptions must not be written or printed on the product box or packaging. We will not process the return if any of these conditions are not followed. We reserve the right to refuse any such returns.

Sales and Other Taxes
Butterfly Electronics shall automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within the state of New York. Each customer shall be solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other taxes, on orders shipped to any other state. You agree to pay for any and all other applicable local, state or other taxes (if any) which are required to be collected by law in connection with the purchase of any products by you.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability as to Products Sold
All products offered on the Butterfly Electronics web site are guaranteed for 10 days from the date of the invoice. Except as expressly stated herein, Butterfly Electronics is merely a venue for the purchase of various products, and Butterfly Electronics and its parent companies make no representations or warranties, either express or implied, of any kind with respect to products sold on the Butterfly Electronics web site, including but not limited to, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. You agree that the sole and exclusive maximum aggregate liability to Butterfly Electronics and its parent companies arising from any product sold on the Butterfly Electronics site shall be the price of the product ordered.
